Norfork fishing

Made a run up to Tony Spezio's shop today. Stopped and ate lunch with Mom and Dad in Mountain View on the way. Stopped at the handicap access on the Norfork on the way and was surprised to find the river low. The parking lot was full. Lot's of folks fishing including several boats. It was hard to do, but I got back in the truck and went on to Tony's place. I dropped off a bundle of bamboo and visited with Tony for a while. He's building a new quad beveler. I'm not sure if he enjoys building tools or rods more. Left there at 4:00 and headed back to the NF. Water was still down. I geared up and hit the water about 5:00 as everyone else was leaving. It was a near perfect hour. Caught several fish midging the water just below the access. Moved back up in front of the access and caught a few more on a number 18 gray sow bug. Headed home at 6:00. It was a really nice Arkansas winter day.
