Turning a cork grip and reel seat insert

I've turned several cork grips, but this was the first time I've turned a cork reel seat insert. It turned out pretty good for a first try. Turned it on the lathe and cut the mortise on my bench top sander. Cleaned it up with sandpaper. This one's almost ready to mount. See more photos in the rod making album.
