Fished the Little Red
Posted by David BolinFished the Little Red this morning with Lowell. It was slow at first. They generated about four hours yesterday afternoon. The water was still falling out in the Pangburn area and really stained. Actually it's more than stained. It's more like muddy. That's the rainbow island area in the picture. The catching kicked into high gear when the water finally stopped falling and stabilized. They were hitting big ugly sowbugs.
Here's the sowbug I was using. It's a number 12, tan, gold tungsten bead head with an orange thread base. The orange thread really stands out when it's wet. The following pictures are dry and wet respectively.
